Effect of Free-Range Chicken Eggs on Perineal Wound Healing among Postpartum Women

10percent of maternal mortality during the postpartum period are caused by infection due to bleeding from tears in birth canal (perineal wound). The wound healing process is influenced intake protein-rich nutrients. Free-range chicken eggs a high source protein (Komala, 2021). This study aims determine effect free-range on perineal among women. was pre-experimental with intact group comparison. There were 32 samples who selected using purposive sampling technique. assigned into Intervention Group (administered eggs) and Control (were not administered eggs). Data collection performed through direct observation wounds REEDA scale score. analyzed Fisher Exact statistical test. results showed that there faster respondents (81.2percent) compare those (25percent) p value 0.002 less than 0.05. It can be concluded administration had an expected women experience starting second grade will consume boiled speed up process.
